JJ's EL84 is a great replacement for guitar amps or hi-fi

When playing clean the JJ EL84 produces a smooth and immensely warm sound. The midrange is full and well balanced with a tight and well defined bass end. The JJ EL84 is very easy to overdrive providing a warm and natural distortion overdrive with a little compression.

Matched EL84's

Fast shipping and well packed thanks. Popped a matched pair of these EL84s into a Tweedtone 20 amp .. sounds great!

EL84

Amp: Bassbreaker 007 7W. Guitar: Knagges Kenai with SD humbuckers. Purchased 1 x EL 84 to replace the valve that the amp came with (Groove Tubes). My preferred tone is warm and just on the edge of break-up. These JJ valves sound warmer to me, and the break-up more controlable. Pre-sales and after-sales service was fast and friendly. The valves arrived promptly and were very well packed. Tonelounge has gained another customer :)
