This classic two-transistor design defines the sound of the '60s, from nasty midrange roar to smooth surfy cream. Catalinbread's Fuzzrite eliminates a lot of the sputter that plagued early units and current attempts, which results in a much more full and musical Fuzzrite, while staying true to its raspy roots. After some heavy experimentation, Catalinbread managed to nail the sound of an original unit, using two transistors you won't see anywhere else. The Catalinbread Fuzzrite is the only fuzz rite enough to bear the name "Fuzzrite." The Fuzzrite is made in Portland, using high quality components, heavy duty aluminum knobs, true bypass switching and a 9v power jack.
