The McPherson F.E.T Drive is a creamy smooth overdrive that is extremely transparent. This circuit is designed to act like a 12ax7 valve preamp with a huge dynamic range, warmness, touch sensitivity and natural break up like a quality valve amp.

Drive controls the amount of distortion from clean through to a creamy smooth overdrive.

Tone controls the amount of treble. Anticlockwise cuts treble and clockwise boosts it, all with out changing your output volume.

Volume controls the overall output level of the unit.

The F.E.T drive has plenty of output and can be used as a great soloing boost pedal.

The switch top left now acts like an extra channel on an amp.

The raised position is the low gain channel with a huge dynamic range and the ability to easily NAIL the holy grail low gain tones .

The lowered position is the high gain channel which not only offers more distortion but is voiced to be brighter and a little tighter than the low gain channel , great for rock tones and soloing .

The pedal has received an overall eq tweak without loosing the Mojo of the original.
